A Lifelong sports enthusiast, having represented Bedfordshire Schools at National Swimming Championships, captained England U21 Ladies Cricket Team and played Hockey for British Universities. Currently a Non-Executive Director of Active Together (formally Leicester-shire and Rutland Sport). Best sporting achievement: 50-54 World Age Group gold medallist in Sprint Triathlon & Aquathlon in  2011.

Loving my “retirement hobby” (!) after a broad business career, working until 2011 in the IT industry (Vice President of Operations) for HERE, Nokia’s Mapping Division.

Now integrating rehabilitation and exercise for older and vulnerable populations with Exercise Referral qualifications and a special interest in exercise for Parkinson's syndrome and recovery from stoke and other ABI.
